Mad Dogs – No More Episodes to be Made

Black Sails – XXIV – Advance Preview

Black Sails continues this upcoming Saturday with an episode that propels characters into positions of power. Decisions are made, lies are told and swords are drawn in an engrossing and game-changing episode.

Flint made his deal with the Maroons last episode and to fulfill that deal Silver had to remain behind in order to see it through. Silver has struggled to cope with the pain of the loss of his leg but has always opted to remain strong and forceful in front of his men. This episode though, Silver’s inner struggle will come out and Madi will play a key part in helping him get past that. The question is, will Silver give in and accept help.

Max has chosen to side with Rodgers and Eleanor and in doing so this has further pushed her into a position of influence. This episode, she makes her feelings known when someone she thought she could depend on comes back to betray all that she is trying to accomplish with Rodgers. Max wants to secure her future and in doing so, that is dependent on the future of Nassau. Max will do anything to retain the Spanish from raising Nassau to the ground and this episode she does just that.

Jack arrives back on the streets of Nassau and is left shocked and angered by the changes being made, not to mention, the level of loyalty towards the new governor that people are showing. Jack has made some chaotic decisions this season and it has been much out of character and this episode he will continue to make the wrong decisions. Jack feels betrayed by all those he pledged to help and this episode he will make one choice that could lead to a bitter and deadly war.

Elsewhere, Ben Gunn tells Billy Bones that he is disappointed and expected more from Flint. Flint is known as one of the greatest pirates of all time but Gunn has only seen a weak and lose canon of a captain, but what happens this episode could well change his opinion of him. Vane is forced into making one of the hardest choices he will ever have to face and the hunt is on when an event occurs that threatens to disrupt Rodgers perfectly set plan.

A lot more happens, but that’s all I’m going to give you as I don’t watch to spoil anything, but below are a few dialogue teasers for you all!

“England may hold the island but it still needs supplies brought in which is dependent on trade.”

“Let’s not pretend for a moment that I’m doing it for their sakes.”

“They took my home; I can’t walk away from that.”

“I will deny him the cash so I will deny him the victory.”

“I have sacrificed too much to be here, I will not let them take it away.”

As always, thank you for reading. Don’t forget to tune in this Saturday for the sixth episode of Black Sails!
